Mid South Contractors ULC is proud to have performed the electrical work for many of these establishments and continues to do so today.

This includes constructing a 5 kV substation and installing the electrical power, lighting, and security for the 27-story casino-hotel including its 25,000 sq. ft. ballroom, 5,000 seat Coliseum entertainment venue, 386 guest rooms, various meeting rooms, gaming floor, and 3-level underground parking garage. Mid South was selected as the electrical contractor for construction of the new Hampton Inn & Suites in downtown Windsor. We provided full electrical power and lighting for the 7-story, 147-room and suite property including the indoor pool, fitness facilities, and 1,000 person meeting space.
The historic Chatham Capitol Theatre is a 1,214-seat entertainment venue in the heart of downtown Chatham, Ontario. Originally constructed in 1930, the theatre closed in 1993, but was purchased by a not-for-profit organization with the intent of restoring/reconstructing it.
During the restoration the main auditorium was outfitted with 755 seats and a balcony was added to accommodate another 455. Also added was a hydraulic orchestra pit, a stage with a 65-foot fly tower and state-of-the-art rigging, an elevator, three lounges, and advanced technology. Restoration was completed in 2014.
